Yes! All you need is a translation of the certificate into the language of the country where you and your partner are planning to live.

Montenegro is a party to the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961, which allows the procedure for simplified legalization of documents through apostille. It acceded to the Hague Convention on the Simplified Legalization of Documents on January 24, 1965 (when the convention entered into force for the former Yugoslavia). On April 26, 2001, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia announced the succession under the convention, and on June 3, 2006, Montenegro itself, after declaring independence.

You send me all the documents you have by e-mail. After consultation and collection of a full package of documents, we conclude an agreement in which all services and prices are specified. And I’m applying for a marriage remotely.

All documents are prepared remotely. I also remotely apply for registration of a same-sex partnership. You and your partner will need to arrive for 5-6 days (they are necessary for the ceremony and for the issuance of an apostille and translation).

Hello, my name is Svetlana, I live in one of the most beautiful countries in Europe — Montenegro — and I organize wedding ceremonies and photography.

Since 2021, it is possible to officially register a same-sex union in Montenegro, so I decided to develop this particular direction.

Why? Well, because I could never understand the prohibitions against loving whoever you want, being with whoever you want, and being officially partners.

And I am very glad that little Montenegro has legalized same-sex marriages and has become an ideal place for LGBT weddings.
